*Berry Baby* (free pattern)

Hello,
my holiday starts with a new freebie! This little thing is called Berry Baby. Somehow I just missed summer and this is what I did.

You need:
DK Yarn (in skin colour and the colours for the suit, I used red)
Needles size 3mm
Sutffing
Yarn to embroider the face and other stuff, like leaves on the top.

And now for the pattern itself.
NOTE: The pattern isn't tested so if you find any errors, please tell me.

Body and head(make 1):
Cast on with red 13sts. P1 row
Next row: K1, [m1, k1] to the end. P1 row. (25sts)
Next row: K1, [m1, k4] to the end. (36sts)
St-st 17 rows
Next row: K5, k2tog 4 times, k5, k2tog 4 times, k5. P1row
Next row: k4, k2tog 3 times, k3, k2tog 3 times, k4. Change to skin colour. P1row.
Next row, K1, [m1, k1]
St-st 15rows. Break off skin colour, join red. St-st for 4more rows.
Next row: K1, [ k2tog], repeat around. P1 row
Next row: K1, [ k2tog], repeat around. Break off yarn and pull it throug remainig stitches

Arms (make 2)
Cast on 12sts with red. Beginning wiht P row St-st 13 rows. Change to the skin color and continue st-st for 6 rows.
Break off yarn and pull it throug remainig stitches

Legs (make 2)
Cast on 13 sts with skin color. P1 row.
Next row: K1, [m1, k1] to the end.
St-st 5 rows.
Next row: K5, k2tog 8 times, k6.
Next row: p5, p2tog 4 times, p5.
Change to red yarn and st-st 18 rows.
Cast off.

Finishing
Sew all the seam and stuff all the pieces. After that sew pieces together and embroider the face.

You can make different accesories to your baby, I embroider little yellow seed all over her suit and added few leaves on the top of her head. I also knitted a little scarf, making a basic i-cord with dpns.

Little mouse/pikku hiiri

Hello!
This is what I've done this time. It's a xmas gift for my aunt, and hopefully she likes. Pattern is From Tilda's: Crafting Christmas gifts. And the small mouse. Seriously, every time I make Tilda dolls, I choose the same fabrics. Same brown for body and that red fabric for dress. LOL! I don't why I do that, but now I'm running out of that fabric. Probably I should buy some more...
My holiday started yesterday(finally) and even we have snow here. And the weather is super freezing! But it's better than having every place covered with mud. (Some of you probably now, what I'm talking about.)
BTW I've finished my pattern and I'm going to post it tomorrow. It's something that reminds me of summer.

Tällaista olen saanut tällä kertaa aikaiseksi. Pikkuisen Tilda-hiiren tädilleni joululahjaksi ja toivottavasti on mieluinen. Ihan aina kun mä rupeen väsäämään jotain tildajuttuu, mä valitsen aina saman ruskeen kankaan vartaloon ja punaruudullisen kaikkeen muuhun. Onkohan mulla joku vika? Hehheeee... Nyt on vaan sellainen pieni ongelma, että punaruudullinen kangas meinaa loppuu. En ehkä osta lisää. Toinen juttu mikä mua häritsee tildoja tehdessäni, on se että mun kappaleet ennen ompelua ja ompelun jälkeen näyttää vähän omituisilta. Enkä kyllä on ainaa tyytyväinen lopputulokseen.
Mulla alkoi joululoma eilen (tai ois pitäny alkaa vasta maanantaina, mutta mä en sillon pääse kouluun) ja nyt me ollaankin sit siivottu.
Sain uuden ohjeen valmiiksi ja ajattelin postata sen huomenna, sen verran voin paljastaa, että se on jotain, joka muistuttaa kesästä.

Piggy stuff/ possuasiaa

Hello kaikki!
I was couple of weeks ago in a market thing selling my toys. It was my 1st time doing that and it was great even though it felt miserable at first. And I'm glad I have more room for new toys now.
One lady ordered some stuff and I decided to share that with you. I made a pig potholder and a little pig keychain. The keychain is so cute that I could make one for myself too.

Onpa kiva taas, että kohta saa syödä hyvää ruokaa. Olin pari viikkoa sitten myymässä pehmo-otuksiani markkinoilla. Se oli eka kerta kun mä tein sitä, ja alkuksi se tuntui aivan kamalalta. Mutta loppujen lopuksi mulla oli tosi kivaa. Ja mää oon tosi onnellinen, että nyt mulla on tilaa uusille pehmoille. Multa tilattiin pari possuaiheista juttua ja päätinkin laittaa niistä kuvat tänne blogiavaruuteen.

HOLA!
Well, unfortunately I haven't finished anything yet. GREAT! I've been working with my socks for almost three weeks now. (Seriously, sometimes I'm just so slow). But surprise, surprise! I've been thinking my new pattern and I already have a SUPER great idea what I'm going to do.
And all get my socks ready in few days, so then I have something to show you. LOL!
But now I'm going bact to my studies, which are limits and derivatives.

Project updates

Hi,
How are you doing? I'm busy (as always. LOL!!!), but I'm glad I've been able to do some crocheting and knitting! I've started a scarf (it's half done) and a pair of socks. (Not even in halfway). School is going well, of course I have a lot of work to do and learning Spanish can be hard with all the ways how to use verbs. Well I'm going to post more when I get something done.

Kiirettä on taas pitäny, mutta onneksi on ollut hyppäreillä aikaa neuloo ja virkata. Alotin huivin (se on melkein puolivälissä) ja sitten sukkaparin (Oon vasta ensimmäisen sukan varren saanu aikaiseksi). Koulun kanssa on ollut kiirettä ja voin vakuuttaa, että espanja subjunktiivin ja preteritin opiskelu on rankkaa.

(Almost) Weekly update

Hello again!
Isn't knitting fun? I've been knitting for my mittens now and I'm almost finished! Hooray!!! So probably I can post the pictures soon. I've been quite busy with my school, having 2 courses of maths can be tiring... Well, I'm glad that my teachers are good! I've also sewn a bag, and I can tell you that it's really REALLY pretty. It's made out of green fabric and it has two buttons as decoration. When I find my little bro's camera I'm gonna take the photos. (This is a promise...)
Also having a baby in the house is great! I just love taking care of my new bro. He's so cute! I've thought about knitting few socks for siblings and I've been looking for good patterns for 10ply yarn, but I haven't found so good ones yet. Well, probably I have to improvise something. If you have any good tips, please tell me.

Hello again!
I haven't finished my baby booties yet (I have a new little brother now, so I'm knitting blue booties for him). But yesterday I found some crafting clay from kitchen and decided to make few little things from it. I really like doing little things with my fingers, even though it takes time. This is an ice cream I made for my cell phone. Isn't it cute?? I just luv it.
I also made few buttons that I can use in my softies. There's one fox, 4 carrots, 1 smiley, 4 apples and a flower. And then I ran out of ideas.

Wow,
I haven't posted in ages! Or at least I think so... But I've been really REALLY busy (And I'm not lying) Being a high school senior is quite hard and I had my final matricular examen in English (hopefully I did well,) in physics (the examen wasn't that bad) and in chemistry (phew, it was so DIFFICULT). And I'm going to have a little sis/brother soon so I've been busy knitting some baby clothes (booties and a jacket to be precise) and when I get them ready I'll definately post the pictures.

En ole varmaan postaillut ikuisuuksin, mutta tällä neitillä on ollut KIIRE (enkä edes liioittele). Abi-vuosi on kyllä tosi RANKKA. Mulla oli enkun, fyssan ja kemian ylioppilaskirjoitukset ja niihin sai kyllä lukea aamusta iltaan. Enkun koe ei nyt niin paha ollut, mutta fyssa ja kemia, kyllä oli... No, toivottavasti meni hyvin. Nyt oon muutaman vauvanvaatteenkin alottanut ja toivottavasti saan ne valmiiksi, ennen kuin pikkuveli tai -sisko syntyy.

Little Miss McScarecrow

Hi,and sorry for not posting for ages. I've been busy with my school work (matriculation examen start in 2weeks) and busy with my hobby: orienteering. I've been working on my new pattern and hopefully I'll get it ready during the weekend. I arrenged a KAL in our Jean Greenhowe Ravlery group and I knitted this little girl for it:The pattern is from MacScarecrow clan and she's baby Bonnie. My favourite knitted doll ever!

and sorry for not posting anything in ages! I was in England last couple of weeks and couldn't post anything from there... but I had sooo great time there! First week I was camping in Soul Survivor. And during 2nd week I visited Wales (in Harlech, which is very nice place) and Cambridge (I even went punting). Of course I was busy knitting: 2 hamsters, 1 dog, 1 cow, 1 rabbit or mouse thing, 1 purse. I bought some yarn and hopefully I'm able to share some pics soon!

Meet Kilmeny

Hi,
I read L.M Montgomery's book Kilmeny of the Orchard few weeks ago and I really liked the story. It'a about a mute girl called Kilmeny and how she fell in love. I really enjoy reading romantic stuff.
So I bought few months ago an issue of Simply Knitting with Alan Dart's pattern: Tails of Yore and I knitted the princess and I decided to name her Kilmeny.

Luin pari viikkoa sitten L.M. Montgomeryn kirja Kilmeny of the Orchars ja pidin siitä paljon. Kirja kertoo mykästä tytöstä, jonka nimi oli Kilmeny ja siitä kuinka hän rakastui.

New Villagers/Uusia asukkeja

here are the picutures as I promised. First this is Micah: My friend asked me if I could knit a monkey to her nephew. So I made one. Monkies are quite easy to make, probably next time I make a little different face.
And this is little Beatrix:
I crocheted her while our family was driving to a party. It took probaly one hour to crochet the part and half our to put all the piecies together. And thanks for Sophie for the great pattern.

Tällaiset uudet asukit ovat saapuneet Mint Villageen. Eräs ystäväni pyysi, että tekisin hänen veljenpojalleen apinan ja niinpä sitten sain Miikan aikaiseksi. Seuraavalla kerralla voisin vielä vähän muokata naamaa. En ole ihan vielä tyytyväinen.
Beatrixin tein automatkalla juhliin. Projekti oli sen verran pieni, että yhteensä aikaa meni vain n. 1.5 tuntia. Kiitokset Sophielle kivasta ohjeesta.

Lazy summer days

Hi,
Summer is just the greatest time in the year (probably), when the weather is good. Past few days have been a bit rainy, so I've had time to knit and read. And suprisingly study to next autumn's matricular examen. I'm glad that after one year my high school is over (I just realised that I'm a senior). Even thoguh studying English and math is quite boring sometimes.
I don't have the camera around, so I can't share photos of my finished projects. But when I find batteries to camera, I'll take those photos.

Little projects/Pikku projekteja

Hi,
Because now is summer, I had time to to finish one of my 'EOs' (everlasting objects). I started this bunny in .... I gues in February. I got the ears ready and since that it has been on my table, watiting to get finished. I used 2,5mm hook and I guess 3ply yarn, so the bunny is bit smaller than the pattern says. Actually this bunny was a lot of crocheting and aching hands afterwards. Any ideas for name?Nyt kun on kesä, niin mulla on ollut aikaa päätellä mun iäisyysprojekteja. Tätä pupua mä olen väsännyt varmaan helmikuusta astia. Ensiksi sain korvat valmiiks ja sen jälkeen tekele onkin pyöriny mun pöydällä odottamassa valmistumistaan. Käytin paljon pienempää koukkua ja lankaa kuin ohjeessa neuvottiin, joten pupusta tuli pienempi kuin ohje sanoi. Kuitenkin tuntui että kädet oli silti kipeät, kaiken virkkaamisen jälkeen.

And I also made two new keychains for my backpack or my friends backpacks. One little Tiny Striped turtle and a little bear. Making little toys is cool, except sewing all little paws and tails to their places!Tein muutaman aivaimenperän, jotka voi sitten syksyllä laittaa reppuun roikkumaan. Niistä tuli ihanat, ainoastaan tassujen ja jalkojen paikoilleen ompelu alkoi jossain vaiheessa tympäistä!

Do you remember the tablecloth weights, I made few weeks ago? Well, now almost all of my mom's friends have wanted them. To be honest, I fed up with strawberries and pears, so I decided to try something new and I found a pattern for a little cup of cafe con leche. I modified the pattern a little so I could get it right. And this is what I have now:

Today weather was rainy so I decided to sew. I saw snails this morning when I was out and I decided to make few from fabric:

Surffasin taas kerran turhaan hyvän helpon suomenkielisen peruspipon ohjetta netissä. Rupesi sen verran keljuttamaan, että päätinpä nyt suomentaa oman pipo-ohjeeni ja pistää tänne. Ohje on nyt röyhelön kanssa sillä pipo oli alunperin tarkoitettu pikkusiskolle, mutta kivan peruspipon saa kun jättää lierin pois. Toivottavasti tästä on hyötyä ja ohje riittävän selkeä.

Virkkaa ilman lisäyksiä kiinteä silmukkaa 9-15 cm:ää, ihan sen mukaan miten pitkän pipon haluat. Päättele ja pujota langanpäät nurjalle puolelle.

Simpukkalieri:
Liitä lanka kerroksen alkuun työn oikealle puolelle.
1) *ks seuravaan 3 ks:ään, 2ks seuraavan ks.ään*, toista krs loppuun. Viimeinen lisäys ei tule olemaan kokonaine, mutta siitä ei kannatta välitää.
2) Simpukkakierros: *1ks, jätä seuraava ks väliin, 5 p seuraavaan ks:ään, jätä seuraava ks väliin* toista krs loppuun. Yhdistä kierroksen ps:llä.
3) 1p ensimmäisen simpukan 3:een p:hen, *5p edellisen kerroksen ks, ks 3:een p:hen* toista krs loppuun.

My family was on a trip for last week and I had finally time to do some crocheting. I haven't designed a crochet pattern for ages so I decided to make one and I came up with Sammy. My little siblings said that the spirders have eight legs instead of six, but I told them that six legs is good for Sammy. ;o) Have fun to crochet this little creature. Sew head to the body. If you use pipecleaners, put them now inside the legs. If you don't, stuff the legs lightly and sew them to the body. With few sitches I made the legs look more like the legs of spider. Embroider the face and the mark to the body.

Teddy bear/ Nallekarhu

Hi,
it has been so warm today here, sun is shining and the sky is cloudless. This is summer, only one thing is missing and that's ice cream. Shops are not open today, but instead of feeling sad about that I finally decided to take pictures of a teddy I made few days ago. Pattern is one of so called Tilda -patterns by Tone Finnanger. Oh, I just love her super easy pattern. Only my bear is a little bit skinny. Do you have any ideas for the name?

Tänään alkoi kesä. Ulkona on aivan sairaan kuuma, aurinko paistaa aivan pilvettömältä taivaalta. Ainoastaan jätski ja laitti-kokis puuttuu. Kaupat ei ole auki tänään :o( mutta sen sijaan että jäisin harmittelemaan sitä, päätin ottaa kuvat nallekarhusta, jonka ompelin pari päivää sitten. Ohje jostain Tilda-jutusta. Mä rakastan Tilda ohjeita, sillä ne on niin superhelppoja. Ainoastaan mun karhusta tuli vähän laihanoloinen ja ajattelin nimeksi Sepeteus Karhulaa, mutta se ei oikein taida kuullostaa hyvältä?

Last day of the school/ vika päivä koulua

Hello!
Today is the last day of my school before summer holiday begins! I just have one math test today!
I jsut love summer and I don't need to say anything about how much I look forward to it!
Happy beginning of the summer! I promise to design a new pattern soon, after I´ve sewed one top and skirt tomorrow!

Moips! Tänään on viimeinen päivä koulua ja mulla on vielä yksi matematiikan koe jäljellä. (okei kokeiden palautus on vielä, mutta sitä ei lasketa) Mä rakastan kesälomaa ja ei todellakaan tarvi sanoa, miten paljon mä oon oottanu sitä.
Lupaan väsätä uuden ohjeen, sen jälkeen kun olen ommellut itselleni topin ja hameen.

Mansikoita/Strawberries

Well, I forgot to show the tablecloth weights I crocheted for my friend. She asked me if I could crochet them and of course I said yes. I took a hook and by trial and error I crocheted 4 strawberries (she told that sehe likes strawberries) and 4 pears. They're filled with little pebbels, marbles, small metallic balls and old coins, just to make them heavier. I wrote down some kind of pattern but, I´m not sure if I will publish it becaus it´s just few lines telling how many stitches I had on the round, nothing more. And my friend told that she was very satisfyed with the result

Yksi ystävistäni tilasi muutama viikko sitten pöytäliinapainoja kesää varten ja tietysti lupasin virkata ne. Otin siis koukun käteen ja yrityksen ja erehdyksen kautta sain aikaan 4 mansikkaa ja 4 päärynää. Painot on täytetty pikku kivillä, marmomorikuulilla, kuulalaakereilla ja vanhoilla kolikoilla. Sillä tavalla ne sai painavemmaksi. Ohjeen kirjotin kyllä ylös, mutta siinä voin silmukka määrä kierroksella, joten en varmaa julkaise sitä, jos ei kysyntää ole.
Ainiin ja ystävä oli tosi tyytyväinen loppu tulokseen.

Meet Abigail

Hi all,
Sorry that I haven´t posted earlier, but the Internet hasn´t worked properly in our home, for almost week. But may I introduce you Abigail, she's my latest version of the bunny, this time with shoes. I know that the shoes aren not yet perfect neither good enough. Maybe next time I´ll manage to knit better shoes. I joked to my sister that Abigail is a traveller, because she´s knitted from Hjertegarn´s Roma and Garnstudio´s Paris, with size 3mm needles.

Anteeks, kun en ole postaillut vähään aikaan, mutta meillä netti ei ole toiminut kaistan vaihdosta johtuen melkein viikkon.
Sain kuitenkin aikaiseksi viime viikolla uudenlaisen pupun. Saanko esitellä: Abigail Maailmanmatkaaja.
Nimi johtuu siitä, että pupunen on neulottu Garnstudion Parisista ja Hjertegarnin Romasta.
Tällä kertaa yritin väsätä pupulle kengät, mutta ne eivät onnistuneet aivan sillä tavalla, kun olisin halunnut. Pitää varmaan yrittää vielä uudemman kerran.

Hi,
I was just outside in our garden and I´m glad that here are so many flowers around. I just love spring, when you can see many different plant growing so fast. Here in Finland the spring is always so fabulous. After a (quite) long winter and 30 cm snow, it is so beatiful to have yellow, white and blue flowers around and leaves in the trees. And even the grass is almost green. We have been cleaning up our backyard and there is a lot of work to do after the winter. I haven´t planted anything, like I´ve done before. Maybe I´ll shopping and buy some seeds to plant salad or more flowers.
I took my camera (or actually it belongs to my little brother, I just borrow it) outside and took some pics. I hate when the battery runs out so fast, I wish that I had better batteries. I started to bunnies, but they´re not ready yet. I hope I get them finished soon.

Kävelin just takapihalla ja on ihanaa, kun valko- ja sinivuokot kukkii. Kevät on aivan ihana vuodenaika. "Pitkän" ja lumisen talven jälkeen on kivaa nähdä paljasta maata ja saada muutamia kukkia. Vapun aikana jopa koivutkin puhkesivat hiirenkorville. Mä odotan kesää! Silloin ei tarvii laittaa herätyskelloa soimaan kello 6.14 ja voi vaan löhöta jättitrampalla ja lukee kirjaa ja jätskin syönnistä puhumattakaan. Me siivottiin pihaa viimeviikolla ja talven jälkeen tuntuu, että piha olis täydellinen kaaos. Nyt mä en oo istuttanu omaa kukkapenkkiä, niin ku mä oon viimevuosina tehny, mutta ajattelin lähtee ostamaan jostain vaikkapa salaatin tai kehäkukan siemeniä.
Mä vein kameran ulos ja otin muutamia kuvia. Se on inhottavaa, kun patterit loppuu kamerasta aivan heti. Pitäis varmaan ostaa paremmat.
Pari pupua alotin vapun aikana, mutta ne ei oo vielä valmiit ja toivottavasti ne valmistuu pian.

*Gina Giraffe (free pattern)*

May I introduce you, the next member of the Mint Village, this is Gina Giraffe. The very best frien of Zackie Zebra. I finally got my pattern ready, or actually I designed this giraffe before Xmas, but I didn´t get photos of the finished toy, so I couldn´t publish the pattern. And when I was knitting my Giraffe, I run out of yellow yarn so I had to use other yarn I found in my stash. If I had had more yarn, I would have designed the ears, but now I have to make them from felt.
This is maybe a bit more difficult than my earlier patterns, because I used DPNs instead of "normal needles" and I used to colours. I´ve never designed a chart in my life, so I hope you understand it. If there are any problems, I´m glad to hear of them. Happy knitting for all of you!

Lopultakin sain tämän kirahvin ohjeen julkaisukuntoon ja tuotua tänne blogosfääriin. Ohjeen mä suunnitelin jo ennen joulua, mutta koska se kirahvi meni lahjaksi serkulle, en kerennyt saada hyviä kuvia. Vielä lisäksi multa loppui keltainen lanka ja jouduin käyttämään, jotain keltaista Novitan Samosia sarviin. Jos lanka olisi riittänyt, kirahville olisi tullut myös korvat. Tämä voi olla vähän vaikeampi kuin aikaisemmat, sillä tämä neulotaan sukkapuikoilla ja kirjoneuletta olen myös onnistunut tunkemaan mukaan.

You need:
DPNs size 3mm
Yellow and brown cotton yarns to match the DPNs
Stuffing
Tapestry needle
Black yarn to embroider the face

Legs (make 2)
Cast on with brown 10 sts. P 1 row.
Next row: K1, *m1, k1* repeat to the end. P1 row.
Next row: K4, *m1, k3* repeat to the end.
St-st 5 rows.
Next row: K8, skpo twice, k2 tog twice, K8
Next row: P6, p2tog 4 times, p6.
Next row: K6, skpo, k2tog, k6.
Change to yellow, st-st 21 rows.
Cast off.

Arms (make 2)
With yellow ast on 12 sts.
Beginning with P row st-st for 15 rows.
Change to brown. St-st for 6 rows.
Next row: k2tog to the end.
Break off the yarn and pull yarn through the stitches that left to the needle.

Body and neck
NOTE: the body is knitted in round. Begin at bottom.
With yellow cast on 26 sts on DPNs. 1st and 3rd needle: 6sts, 2nd and 4th needle: 7sts. K 1row
Next row: K1, *m1, k5*, repeat *_* around. K 1row

Horns:
Cast on 7sts. Knit i-cord for 7 rows.

Change to brown yarn. Knit 6 rows.Break off the yarn and pull yarn through the stitches that left to the needle.

Sew the back seam of the legs and stuff them. Stuff the body before sewing the legs to the body. Stuff neck firmly so the head will look good. Stuff and sew arms to the body just below the neck. Sew head to the body and horns to the head. Embroider the face and your little friend is finished!

Spring is coming!

Hi everyone!
I´m sorry that I haven´t been posting lately. I was in Åre (in Sweden) skiing centre with my friends for a week and came home couple of days ago. I didn´t have camera with me, only my cell phone, so I can´t share pictures I took from there. I´ve never done downhill skiing in my life and I can assure you that I looks easier than it really is!
Here in Finland spring is coming really fast, it´s warm and sunny! There are already some flowers here in our backyard.
I hope I get my new pattern ready in this weekend and I hope I get published it here soon!
I knitted few toys during the easter and my visit in Åre.


Eipä ole tullut postattua parin viikkoon. Olin kavereiden kanssa Åressa laskettelemassa viikon ja tulin kotiin pari päivää sitten. Kameraa mulla ei ollut kun kännyssä, muuten lataisin muutaman kivan luontokuvan tänne. Ennen ole ikinä ennen elämässäni lasketellut ja voin sanoa, että laskettelu näyttää paljon helpommalta, mitä se oikeasti on. Mä laskin ekat päivät pelkistä sinisistä rinteistä ja viiimeisenä päivänä onnistuin puolivahingossa laskemaan yhden punaisen rinteen alas.
On ihanaa, kun tulee kevät ja aurinko paistaa! Muutamat krookukset kukkii jo meidänkin takapihalla.
Mä yritän saada mun uuden ohjeen nyt viikonloppuna tehtyä valmiiksi ja postattua sen tänne.
Muutaman uuden asukkaan sain väsättyä pääsiäisenä ja sillon kun oli Åressa.

Some sewing

Hello,
finally I was able to do some sewing and I made a little doll from a pattern I found online.
This is Rebecca, I named after a charachter I saw in the movie called The Outsider.
Tällaisen nuken sain aikaan koeviikon jälkeen. Mekkokangas on Eurokankaasta ja ihonväri kangas on virallista Tilda-puuvillaa. Nuken nimeksi tuli Rebecca, erään länkkärin päähenkilön mukaan, jonka näin joskus. Esikuvalla on tosin vaalea tukka.

New Villagers

Hola todos,

I´ve been quite busy with my school lately(that´s a good excuse, for being a lazy blogger), but I´m glad that I´ve knitted few new Villagers. Earlier this spring I bought a pattern from fuzzymitten.com and the result was supposed to be a cat, but surprisingly he is now a mouse.
May I introduce you HENRY, the soccer player:

I also made him the t-shirt and added number seven on it. The pattern for the shirt is from a book called: The Knitted Teddy Bear.

And I bought an egg cosy pattern from Little Cotton Rabbits about one and half weeks ago. She is almost perfect, but I think I have a problem with the head. Compared to the pictures of the patttern, the heaf of my bunny is much smaller even I used maybe 8 ply yarn for the head instead of 5ply.

Kiirettä on pitänyt koulun kanssa (koeviikko ja ylioppilaskirjotukset peräkkäisinä viikkoina on rankkaa), mutta olen sentään saanut aikaiseks muutaman uuden kyläläisen. Ensimmäinen on Henry Hiiri, josta aluksi ohjeen mukaan piti tulla kissa, mutta jostain syystä kävi niin, että hän halusikin olla hiiri. Sitten lisäsin vielä Henrylle paidan, johon lisäsin numeron 7. Hän on niitä hiiriä, jotka rakastaa pallon perässä ravaamista.
Sitten ostin Little Cotton Rabittsiltä ohjeen munansuojukseen ja neuloin nopeasti viime sunnuntaina hänet valmiiksi. Pupu ohje on mun mielestä aivan mahtava, mutta mun pupulle tuli ihan sairaan pieni pää, vaikka käytin paljon paksumpaa lankaa päähän, mitä ohjeessa neuvottiin.
Mulla on vielä matikan koe jäljellä, mutta sen jälkeen ajattelin neuloa muutaman pupun lisää ja virkata lisää amigurumeja.
